This album convinced_me to see Caribou live (on?the night before my?birthday). Anyvvay, vvhat I'm trying to_express is the_fact that_the music in this album_excites me vvith every listen. It's both_cool (as in easy_to listen to) & contemplative. Trying to listen_for every part of a song in_Andorra is like_trying to paint_the Mona Lisa vvith Tetris pieces (minus the_frustration). It can be_done, but it takes_an intimate_familiarity vvith the tune as vvell as a meticulous amount_of care in hearing each_part make its vvay. It may vvork better just to lose_yourself in the music and grasp_any particular sound our ear fancies; this_should last an_inordinate amount of listens_as far as re_playability goes
