Hip-hop visionary Miles Jones has launched the exclusive premiere of his official video for “Never Wrong Remix”, directed by Aaron Alleyne. Check out the new video here:
The track is an inspired reworking of his Boi 1da (Drake, Eminem, Kanye West) produced single, “Never Wrong”. “Never Wrong Remix” is featured on “Never Wrong The Mixtape” which premiered on hip-hop tastemaker DJ Booth in November. Serving as the official prelude to the upcoming US release of the full-length studio album Runaway Jones, the mixtape boasts 12 previously unreleased tracks and remixes, with guest collaborators including Percee P, Classified, Kae Sun, Promise, Nilla, and OK Cobra, and production work by Boi 1Da, DJ Serious, Nate Quinn, James Ashton, OK Cobra, Cash Flow, and Miles Jones himself.
Hailing from a long line of reputable musicians, Miles’ grandfather Headly Jones Sr. from Jamaica started Studio and was arguably the first to invent the electric guitar. His father Headly Jones Jr aka Deadly Headly was a DJ on CFNY and an early Toronto Club DJ pioneer.
Growing up with musical influences coming from both West Indian and Canadian cultures, Miles created a unique urban sound that maintains the key elements of true hip-hop, which lead to collaborations with Percee P, Detroit-based producer Black Milk, and most recently, Boi 1da who was nominated at this year’s BET Awards for “Producer of the Year”. Miles has been the recipient of distinguished awards from the Billboard World Song Contest for “Hip Hop Song of the Year” (2010) and the Independent Music Awards for “Hip Hop Song of the Year” (2009) and "Hip Hop Artist of the Year" (2007). His music has been featured on major networks and hit television programs including CBS’ CSI: Las Vegas and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
