Jim Noir - A.M Jazz (2019) mini Review

80/100 - review: Surprisingly different (though you’d still know it was a Jim Noir album) and quite melancholy but a very enjoyable listen. There’s a shoegaze feel in places and echos of some of the work he released a few years back as fan club EPs but the rhythms and overall sense is of a more mature musical expression throughout. Great to have a new Noir LP after the long wait.
